1 cup of powdered sugar
1/2 cup of cocoa powder
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Make cake batter as directed on the box.
Add cupcake liners to a cupcake pan and scoop cupcake batter about 3/4ths of the way in using a spoon or ice cream scoop.
Take about 2 teaspoons of cookie dough and add it to the center of each cupcake.
Once filled, bake cupcakes in the oven for 14 to 19 minutes depending on your cupcake batter and oven temperature.
Allow to cool for 30 minutes to an hour.
Whipped Cream Frosting:
In a stand-mixer or hand-mixer, combine 2 cups of heavy whipping cream, 1 cup of powdered sugar, 1/2 cup of cocoa powder.
Whip for 3 to 4 minutes on medium speed until you notice a whipped cream forming.
Use a piping bag with a piping tip to frost cupcakes.
Feel free to garnish your cupcakes with either cookie dough, chocolate chip pieces, or pieces of freshly baked cookies.
